Orange pie



1 packet ½ kg pastry sheets

1 cup 200gr cow yogurt

1 cup corn oil

1 cup sugar

4 eggs, 1 sachet baking powder

Peels of 2 oranges

SYRUP: juice of 2 oranges

2 glasses of water

1 ½ glasses of sugar



In a baking pan(size 28-30 cm) brushed with oil, place all pastry sheets pleated (as an accordion) the one next to the other. In a mixing bowl beat all the rest of the ingredients to bind altogether and pour the mixture over the pastry sheets. Bake at 200 degrees C. for about 45-50 minutes until the mixture becomes solid and brownish. In the meantime you prepare the syrup and pour it over the pie when it is ready. Allow half an hour for the syrup to be absorbed and then serve.
